The Injured Body at Ma’s House
A wonderful, intimate screening of The Injured Body: A Film about Racism in America at Ma’s House & BIPOC Art Studio, a unique community art space based on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Southampton, New York. The post-screening discussion was amazing. Thank you Brianna Hernandez and Jeremy Dennis for organizing and thank you to all those who attended. Had the opportunity to see the exhibition Reclaiming Death: Art, Ritual, Advocacy at Ma’s House and met the lovely Jun Yang who is doing a residency there. An evening full of art, film, friendship, and exchange.
